Happy Easter from Loreto, Mexico

This week is Semana Santa or Holy Week; which is traditionally the most travelled weekend of the year in Mexico.   Families pack up their coolers, tents, food & drinks, as well as grandparents, cousins, teenagers and babies all head to the beach to spend a wonderful 3 or 4 days enjoying the surf, sand and sun.  
 
I also took time off and there is no greater beauty of Loreto than from the water.   I wanted to share the following photos with you of the Islands of Loreto and how far our developments have come in just a few short years.

Lots of Familiar Faces in Loreto I was in Phoenix for the day and it was a whirlwind of activity, as I managed to organize my furniture move to Loreto, meet with my accountant Randy Wagner (who is knowledgeable about both USA and Mexico tax structures), went shopping for wine and the whole Mall experience that only Scottsdale can offer, as well as seeing my good friend Catherine Swinscoe. Loreto Bay Real Estate Update      It is good to be back in Loreto ... always feels like I am returning home! The cold spell has broken and now temperatures are 70F bright and sunny.    Loreto did get some rain in January which turned the mountains   into green landscapes.   Now i t is endless blue skies, lush tropical backdrops and gardens everywhere.       There is a definite increase in real estate this season.   Many people who have been coming to visit for several years are now ready to make the commitment of buying.   Also first time visitors are loving this place and want to come back to rent and decide which area and home they want to vacation.  Great News for All!
